New King Water Billing Procedure Posted to Web Site

Changes:

1. Meter Readings have been moved to June and December.
2. Bills mailing dates moved to Jan and July.
3. Due dates remain March 1 and September 1.

Sample results are negative for bacteria and the  “Boil Water Notice” has been lifted for all affected households.  If you know someone who is not subscribed to these notices, please encourage them to do so, because these can be lifesaving.

Reminder from the HOA President, Randy Barry:

My conservative estimate for the cost of these repairs is a minimum of $7-$8,000.  We don’t have exact numbers yet, but you can see how quickly these events add to our costs, (not to mention your inconvenience).

A water system upgrade/refurbishment will keep us from having costly, unscheduled water interruptions and lengthy boil water notices.  Please keep this in mind when meetings and votes regarding your water system are being scheduled.

We had a water main leak in the vicinity of 705 Vesper the morning of Jul 26. King Water  isolated and repaired the leak.  Water samples have been taken and we are waiting for results. The “boil water notice”  will be lifted, and affected  members informed when satisfactory sample results are received.
